Commonly known as "baptism," our SCUBA Dive Discovery experience adheres to the highest standards set by the certifier SDI (SCUBA DIVERS INTERNATIONAL). Here, you're not just taken for a dive, but you're properly introduced to the diving equipment, the effects that the water and air you'll breathe have on your body, and the correct way to interact with marine life, making your dive much safer and more enjoyable! And there's more – you even leave with an official international diving experience record by SDI! Isn't it another level of adventure?
You may find others in the market offering "free" photos in your diving experience. But have you ever wondered about the quality of those photos? Have you researched with clients of that operator? At SANDMAR PRIVATE DIVER, we do charge for photos, but what we deliver is something of much greater value! Our photos are taken with equipment specifically designed for professional underwater photography, with flash, appropriate lenses, and highly trained and recognized professionals. Opting for something of lower quality is missing the opportunity to show your loved ones the real diving experience and depriving yourself of having this experience forever!
We can state that we have never had ANY accidents in our operations! But even if we did, we would be covered by insurance tailored for tourism, named for each student we receive! After all, your enjoyment is a serious matter to us!
In the name of our safety, all equipment, cylinder pressure, seals, and everything else are tested before being released to the vessel. But as we like to err on the side of caution, we always bring extra equipment on the operation!
The AL-CAMAR is the main diving vessel in Arraial do Cabo! So much so that it served as a model for all other diving vessels in Arraial do Cabo! And we're proud of that! We like to innovate and feel proud when we are followed.
The SANDMAR PRIVATE DIVER team is composed of highly qualified professionals who not only train new divers, from basic to technical, but also train the best diving professionals in Brazil!
To comfortably dive, we need a special diving suit, and the thicker it is, the more comfortable your dive will be. The general market offers suits with a thickness of 2mm to 3mm. At SANDMAR PRIVATE DIVER, we believe this is below what our customers deserve, and we only work with suits ranging from 5mm to 7mm in thickness. We provide hoods for those who feel colder and even additional suits if needed. Your comfort and safety will directly reflect on your enjoyment, and you are always our priority.
There are two types of diving fins, called "closed" and "open," which can cause confusion about which is best for the diver to use. Despite "closed" fins appearing to be better, they are actually the coldest and most uncomfortable since they are worn directly on the feet, allowing water to have direct contact with the skin and stealing heat from the body. We exclusively use "open" fins, which come with neoprene boots to protect the feet against heat exchange with the water, providing greater comfort for
